ShineGet.me – a new universal wishlist with price tracking

So a few weeks ago I decided that I wanted to set up a universal wishlist without Amazon knowing everything that I fancy buying. I was also interested in price tracking and seeing when was a good time to buy something I wanted.

As I was clearly lacking in side projects (HeadsUpDev, patios and trains aside…) I decided that it would be interesting to make one of my own and at the same time learn some Ruby on Rails.

And so ShineGet.me was born, go there and grab an account if you fancy – of course if you want some convincing you can check out my wishlist first.

You can see the code as it’s all open source, please contribute patches or report any bugs that you find too!

Happy shopping.
